We are working to become California's pre-eminent provider of P.O.S.T. and S.T.C. certified Sexual Harassment Prevention and Discrimination Training for Law Enforcement agencies as AB1825 requires.

The California Legislature passed AB1825 which was signed by Gov. Schwarzenegger on September 29, 2004.
 

The Basics:

Employers with 50 or more employees must provide a minimum of 2 hours of effective interactive training and education regarding sexual harassment to all supervisory employees by January 1, 2006 who were employed by July 1, 2005

Those employers must also provide the same training to all newly appointed supervisory employees within six months of assuming their supervisory position. 

This training shall be presented by trainers or educators with knowledge and expertise in the prevention of harassment, discrimination and retaliation.

Exemptions:
An employer is exempt if it has provided sexual harassment training and education to employees after January 1, 2003.

Follow Up Training

Effective January 1, 2006, each employer must provide sexual harassment training and education to each supervisory employee once every 2 years.
 
The law requires the training, common sense demands it and the whole community benefits.
